Ambiente Apartments reserves the right to charge a security deposit of EUR 100 upon check-in. Please note that the amount of money collected can be increased based on the number of guests arriving.
The payment will be used to cover incidental items including, but not limited to, breakages, damage to property, additional cleaning costs due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state, excessive electricity usage, and breaches to regulations such as smoking in the rooms or causing disturbance of other guests enjoyment of the property. Security Deposits may also be used by Ambiente Apartments in the event of unauthorised extra guests using the room and facilities.
Security Deposit held on a credit card (via a pre-authorisation) or charged to a debit card will be refunded as per the issuing bank’s policy. Typically this may take between 3-10 working days, however some banks do take longer.
If the process of pre-authorisation is declined by the credit card company, there is a possibility to take over 100 EUR security deposit in cash, but this accompanies arranging a personal check-out procedure on the day of your departure.
Guests should note that with pre-authorisation no money is transferred at the time, but it will affect your available funds balance and spending limits on the card while the pre-authorisation exists. Ambiente Apartments is not liable for any delays in refunding pre-authorisations by credit card companies.
If disturbance to other guests has occurred or any damage to the property, the cost to Ambiente Apartments will be retained from the Security Deposit, and only the balance returned to the Guest.
Please note that damages and losses are not limited to the Security Deposit and any costs in excess of this amount will be invoiced and payable in full without delay. The Security Deposit will also be used to cover any additional costs of cleaning if the property is left dirty or if vacated later than the stated time on the day of departure.
If the reservation contains flexible cancellation policy and it is cancelled up to 24 hours before the day of arrival, no fee will be charged. If such reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours before the day of arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged. Nonrefundable reservations are paid in advance and in case of cancellation or no-show, no refund is provided.
If the reservation is made for a longer period, 1 month and more, Ambiente Apartments reserves the right to ask for a 20% deposit from the accommodation price to be paid in advance. If the reservation is cancelled up to 14 days before the check-in date, the deposit will be refunded. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the deposit will not be refunded.
Please note that during high season dates (such as New Years Eve or Christmas), Ambiente Apartments reserves the right to ask for a non-refundable deposit to be paid in advance.
Please note that changing the dates of a reservation is subject to availability and additional costs may apply.
Whilst all reasonable efforts have been taken by Ambiente Apartments to ensure that bookings are able to proceed, we reserve the right to relocate any booking to accommodation of similar size and standard in special cases, such as overbooking. In exceptional circumstances Ambiente Apartments may find it necessary to cancel your booking. If this occurs Ambiente Apartments will refund any amount of money the Guest has paid which shall constitute a full and final settlement of any liability.
Customers must comply with Ambiente Apartments rules for checking-in and checking-out. Unless otherwise agreed in advance, apartments will usually be made available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
To guarantee early arrival (before 10:00 AM) it is necessary to pre-register the room from the night before. Unless otherwise agreed in advance, all apartments must be vacated and all keys returned by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. By prior arrangement late check outs can be arranged for the date of departure. An additional night’s accommodation will apply to all check-outs after 3:00 PM.
Please note that late check-in after 19:00 (7:00 PM) is only possible if discussed and confirmed in advance.
The Guest will be issued with a set of keys by the reception staff upon arrival and the Guest must return them on the date of departure. Failure to do so will incur the cost of 100EUR for a new door lock and a replacement set.
All apartments are fully furnished and include a kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances and kitchen utensils. Please note that certain parts of the apartment equipment such as toaster, fan, baby chair and baby crib are subject to availability and need to be requested in advance. Food or drinks are not provided as part of the product offering.
Only very basic toiletries are supplied to the room and guests are reminded to bring their own.
No items may be removed from the apartment.
All prices quoted are inclusive of bed linen & towels, cable TV and Internet.
Please ensure that all appliances, lighting, heating, hot water etc are turned off unless required.
Ambiente Apartments cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to any belongings, or for injury sustained by the Guest or members of his/her party during their stay at the apartment except to the extent that such injury or loss or damage to any belongings is caused by the negligence or default of Ambiente Apartments.
Ambiente Apartments does not provide insurance for personal effects. Vehicles parked in the Ambiente Apartments car-parks are done so at the risk of the Customer. We strongly recommend that guests make their own arrangements for travel and motor insurances to cover any such losses.
All of the properties of Ambiente Apartments are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed in any part of the accommodation, including balconies.
Ambiente Apartments has a strict no-party policy and requires its Guests to comply with the noise law valid in the Old Town of Bratislava in between 10:00pm and 6:00am. Ambiente Apartments grants the use of its property solely for appropriate, legal, personal use.
Ambiente Apartments does not accept group reservations of more than 3 apartments for the same time period. Such reservations can only be confirmed and accepted by prior consultation and consent of the Ambiente Apartments team members. Special payment and cancellation policies apply to group reservations over 3 apartments.
Right to Evict
Ambiente Apartments reserves the right to terminate the Guestsˈ stay without any refund obligations in case of a breach of the Terms and Conditions or in case of receiving serious complains about the Guest. Ambiente Apartments also reserves the right to refuse to provide an accommodation if on arrival the Guest is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, is unsuitably dressed or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.
The maximum occupancy of the apartment shall not be exceeded. It is forbidden to invite other people than those registered.
Children under the age of 6 can be accommodated free of charge, sleeping in parentsˈ or guardiansˈ bed, using the existing bed linen and towels. Baby cot is available upon request at an additional charge 5Eur/night. Accommodation of an extra person is possible, depending on the capacity of the apartment, at an additional charge of 15Eur/night.
No domestic pets are allowed without previous discussion and permission of Ambiente Apartments Management. If the booking that includes pets is agreed in advance, our Guests are kindly asked to make sure all the worming treatments and vaccinations are up to date. Pets are not allowed to be placed on the furniture or beds and they are not allowed to be left unattended in the apartment. There must be no evidence that a pet has been at the property upon departure.
Ambiente Apartments Team reserves the right to enter the apartment at any reasonable time for reasonable cause. This includes the undertaking of unforeseen (internal and external) remedial repairs together with any annual external re-decorations for which access to the inside of the apartment may be required.
