1.) What is "Ambiente Serviced Apartments"?
Ambiente serviced apartments is a company with three years tradition in offering the higher-class apartments in Bratislava, which are right in the centre of the Old Town. We offer apartments to business travelers and visitors who want to spend some time in Bratislava. It does not matter if you look for one-night or long-term stay; we are able to offer you high class services in every case for reasonable price. We will do our best to meet your requirements. "Satisfaction of our guests with their second home".
2.) What are serviced apartments?
The term "serviced apartment" is generally used to describe apartments furnished and fitted out like a normal home, with hotel-style services provided. Our apartments are very tastefully furnished, each with a fully equipped kitchen and with a lot of home appliances.
Most of the Ambiente Apartments have separate living & dining area and master bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
3.) Where are your apartments located?
The most of our apartments are located in the Old town. We can offer you apartment according to your needs and requirements. There is possibility to book the apartment in calm but also in lively surrounding.
4.) Why should I choose apartment in spite of the hotel?
You have your own privacy at the apartment; you can invite your friends for a lunch and do not care about the reception. Every single apartment has own kitchen where you can cook the meal under your demands and needs. You manage your own time; you have an extra space, flexibility and independence. Most importantly, you'll save money too! Our apartments cost on average 40% less than a hotel
5.) What is the size of the apartments?
Ambiente Apartments offers comfortable and spacious but also very cosy apartments from 40m2 up to 80m2. See our apartments guide to get a more information.
6.) What is the maximum occupancy?
The capacity of our apartments is from 2 up to 6 persons. The price for the apartment is up to 2 persons. Every person over 2 is for extra fee 15 Eur. Children under 6 years are for free, with no service provided. Please be informed, that you are responsible for not exceeding the maximum occupancy and you can be asked to leave the apartment if you do so.
7.) How do I make a reservation for an apartment?
Please choose the apartment and assign the date you are planning to visit us. Fill in all the necessary details and click to Book this apartment. Please be informed that there is needed 20% deposit of whole price for renting in advance and we will confirm the apartment you have chosen by return.
8.) Will somebody wait for me in front of the apartment?
Our apartments are not situated in the same building. Because of this we need to know the exact time of your arrival to wait for you. Representative from our company will wait for you at the place and accommodate you in your apartment. You will pay the rest of amount for staying; agree on the check out with our colleague.
9.) What time can I check in and when do I have to check out from the apartment?
Our check in and check out hours is stated to:
Check in: from 17:00 till 23:00
Check out: till 12 o'clock
While you are wondering to stay longer than 12:00, you have to pay 30% of price per one day if staying from 1.00 p.m. till 5.00 p.m. and after 5.00 till 7.00 p.m you pay 50% of amount per one day.
10.) What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 1 day, but as longer you stay as efficient it is for you. Staying just one night is price per night plus extra charge for one night staying 15 €.
11.) What happens if I break something?
You pay a deposit 100 € at the time of accommodation which will be reverted to you at your leave. It is against possible damage to the premises resulting from possible negligence.
12.) Do you provide a cot?
Yes, we can provide a cot for an extra cost. Please note it in a reservation form.
13.) Is it possible to extend my stay, how can I do it?
Please contact us to check availability. Providing the apartment is available on the dates that you wish to extend, this is easy to arrange. If your apartment is unavailable, we will make every effort to offer you a different alternative.
14.) Do I have to pay a deposit? How much is it?
It is necessary to pay a deposit before your arrival. It is 20% of amount for whole accommodation. We secure you, that apartment you have already chosen and decided for, is reserved for you and also ourselves that apartment which we will not offer to someone else, will be engaged by you.
In case you have already paid a deposit and you can't come to Bratislava and you haven't expected it, it is possible to return money back to you, while you notice cancelling of the accommodation at least 14 days before.
15.) Can I bring pet with me?
It is possible to bring pet with you, but you have to let us know in advance.
16.) Do you provide breakfast?
We do not provide breakfast, but for an extra charge we can buy you some products and let it for you in a refrigerator.
17.) Parking
Parking - for parking on many streets in the city centre during the day (until 4 pm), you must buy a 1-hour parking card costing about 0,70 euro. These scratch cards are on sale from sellers in yellow reflective vests who control the parking areas. The card can also be purchased at newsstands.
Many parking places in the centre are private, and so are marked with a white cross on the ground and a blue traffic sign "P-Reserve". They are sometimes also equipped with a metal parking pole.
18.) Can I cancel my reservation in case of any unexpected circumstances?
Yes. However, a cancellation involves some charges depending on day notice is given:
More than 14 days' notice: the deposit will be payed back
From 13 days up to 24 hours notice: 20% of the cost.
Less than 24 hours' notice: 100% of the cost
19.) I am an owner and I want to rent my apartment.
It is our pleasure to rent apartment from you. We will take care of your apartment and it will be held in perfect conditions.

20.) How long does it take from the airport to the apartment?
The drive from the airport in a taxi is about 20 minutes.
21.) How to get to Ambiente Apartments from Airport?
In case of arriving to the airport, we are able to arrange a taxi driver who will be waiting for you and will take you directly to the apartment.
This taxi is for additional fee paid directly to the taxi driver. However this option will be cheaper than airport taxi. Please let us know in advance if you are interested in such a service.

23.) What to do in Bratislava?
In Bratislava you can find a lot of good restaurants from all over the world. We can recommend you few of them at the check-in. In case that you would like to know Bratislava's nightlife, here are some of the most popular clubs in downtown but also in other parts of Bratislava. This will be also provided and advised to you at the accommodation.
24.) Where to shop in Bratislava?
There are several shopping centres where you can shop in Bratislava. If you are fan of films, you can watch them at Palace Cinemas complex in Aupark, Polus City Center or newly opened Eurovea Galeria. Avion shopping Park, which is close to the Bratislava's Airport, provides many playgrounds for kids. In case you are planning to buy some necessary equipments home, Bratislava offers Ikea Avion Shopping Park or Kika. The free shuttle service is provided for Shopping Palace customers.

30.) Why is Bratislava so unique?
Bratislava (German, Pressburg; Hungarian, Pozsony), capital city of Slovakia, in the south-west on the River Danube near Vienna. Right now Slovakia's capital city is such as largest city and also the centre of an extensive trade in grain, wine, and other agricultural produce. A major industrial centre too. Points of interest on historical base:
• a 13th-century cathedral restored in the second half of the 19th century in gothic style The name is St. Martin's Cathedral. During the centuries lO members of the Habsburg's dynasty have been crowned there.
• Nový most • Bratislava Castle • Devín castle • Slavín • Franciscan church build in a 13th-century.
• Old Town Hall 13th-century. Today it serves as the museum housing valuable collections of documents, books and archeological foundings.
• Bratislava is the student's city also. There are many universities there, covering almost the whole sphere of required high education. The first university was found already in l467 by Matias Korvin - it was Academia Istropolitana. Today the students of the Academy of Drama and Music study there.

One of the most beautiful cities in central Europe. Bratislava offers visitors rich cultural experience based on intristing history, which is very rich and it dates back to the fifth century, as we can see above.
Points of interest that are recomendet to visit:
• Grassalkovich Palace (former it was pioneer's palace) which is the residence of the President today.
• Primate´s Palace where is situated the permanent expositure of the tapestries. They have very important origin. Charles I. the Stuart was real art-lover and during his period become tapestries very popular. So he employed a lot of people to make them and he also invited number of foreign artists -they were mostly from England. They made beautiful pieces of work but during the removing of the palace, tapestries got lost. The constructors fetched down the paper's walls and they found the huge hole behind them. But there was no treasure of gold and silver, there were the tapestries in very high price, too.
• The other museums are: The Slovak National Museum, The Municipal Museum and The City Museum.
Bratislava is dreamt town for so many young people, is the opportunity for entertainment. Except a number of disco or cinemas and you can go to visit some theatre e.g. Slovak National Theatre containing The Small Stage, The New Stage, The Studio of the New Stage, The Studio S, The Slovak Philharmonie.
